Job Requirements
  • Education & Experience: 
    • Bachelor’s degree;
    • At least 5 years of business experience in ecommerce and digital;
    • Proven account management roles, preferably from marketplace platforms or FMCG MNC ecommerce lead roles.
  • Competencies & Abilities:
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and spoken) in English + Local Language;
    • Strong analytical capabilities, and passion for extracting rich insights from data;
    • Customer-oriented, Shopper-focused;
    • Dynamic, results-oriented individual with a "hands on" style;
    • Adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment;
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team player;
    • Project management skills with the ability to get things done.
Specific Responsibilities

I.Manage the Present: Own and lead E-Commerce commercial execution channel P&L, resource mobilization, and full-funnel activation from offsite to onsite business levers across the marketplaces to deliver business growth, with the direct control of an ecommerce enabler, and dotted line support from a media agency.

Business Delivery and Customer Management

  • Responsible for the delivery of profitable market share growth of the ecommerce channel;
  • Responsible for the delivery of the Volume Sales, Gross & Net Sales KPIs;
  • Lead account relationship for Sanofi CHC with all e-commerce marketplaces in the country;
  • Develop and lead the marketplace strategy, and growth plans for E-Commerce channel;
  • Acquires an understanding of local market and use this knowledge to accelerate the Commercial Executions;
  • Develop Joint Business Plan (JBP), monitor and drive the performance via Joint Business Plans with core customers;
  • Presents the business strategy, ambitions, clear targets & priorities of each marketplace;
  • Manage sales operation via appointed third party distributor;
  • Close monitor the inventory of distributor and optimize the accuracy of forecast with supply chain;
  • Arrange and lead regular business reviews and manage the relevant commercial relationships;
  • Ecommerce Full Funnel Orchestrator;
  • Be the orchestrator of ecommerce integrated planning & execution, on both onsite & offsite fronts, driving the cross-functional team, including brand marketing, shopper marketing, consumer engagement, media agency, creative agency, etc. to sync all the business levers and business objectives;
  • Align budget plan across functions, and across categories, from trade budget to media budget;
  • Drive the cross-functional teams in executing those aligned trade and media budget properly;
  • Lead the agenda, review, and decision making in mobilizing, reshuffling, AB testing, and optimizing both onsite and offsite resources, to achieve the best business results for ecommerce channel, given same input budget;
  • Manage and optimize the full ecommerce shopper journey to reach expected efficiency: starting from offsite traffic where we catch potential shoppers, what we want them to see, what steps they need to go through, where they land in the ecom platforms, how to drive conversion, basket size, and loyalty (repeat purchase). Objective is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the full journey to drive business results;
  • Also be the guardian of any signals of channel conflict, or channel cannibalization, and have measures to mitigate it;
  • Drive Execution Excellence at Point of Purchase & Point of Recommendation;
  • Deliver the entire portfolio distribution as per Regulatory guidelines and active sales targets;
  • Activate extended range opportunities (larger packs, online bundles, etc.);
  • Activate and deliver the Perfect Online Store activation targets: Assortment, Availability, Content, Shopper Ratings & Reviews, Share of Onsite Search, Onsite Media Activation, Store ratings;
  • Drive an in-market Fast Start to the fiscal year to bring business momentum;
  • Co-Activate end-to-end Perfect Season campaigns and Key online events to deliver in season excellence;
  • Actively Manage the Gross to net to Drive ROI;
  • Negotiate and deliver the necessary pricing and promotional plan to drive profitable market share;
  • Deliver a Shopper Ratings & Reviews program to drive product recommendations and top line sales growth;
  • Channel and Shopper Insights;
  • Develop a fully integrated plan working with the Brand and Shopper Marketing team and execute brand plans in these strategic customers and platforms;
  • Work hand in hand with digital marketing to create 360-degree consumer engagement campaigns/ projects;
  • Online trade marketing excellence to create outstanding brand connections online;
  • Deliver valuable category and market insights to strengthen our presence;
  • Test, learn, scale up, and share insights with SEA Ecommerce community to add value to other markets;
  • Externally Focused;
  • Continually keep a track of the marketplace and shopper trends on the platform;
  • Competitor awareness. Track & analyze competitor activity both NPD & promotional/shelf strategies to ensure Sanofi competitiveness in the marketplace;
  • Understand, analyze and communicate clearly the shopper, category and trade dynamics in the country now and in the future.

II.Create the Future: Actively collaborate with Brand Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Zone Consumer Engagement, Zone media agency, under the guidance from SEA E-commerce Lead, to drive E-Commerce short term channel plans

  • Demonstrate a future focused approach – identifying market opportunities ahead of time and preparing for the path to purchase of the future;
  • Drive an ROI mindset throughout the organization both for onsite commercial activities & offsite digital activities;
  • Ensure the relevant commercial tools are being put in place and future proofed to enable us to continue to actively manage our gross to net, drive distribution/ execution and engage the retailer in a category and shopper focused way.
